Yes, if you placed your order with a voucher or store credit, you will still be able to accumulate the spending. However, do note that the voucher or store credit amount will not count towards the spend accumulated.

Our new loyalty program is currently catered to customers that are based in the Philippines. For customers based outside of the Philippines, you will still get to earn points as long as you complete the actions required. All other benefits for your tier will still apply, such as early access to online sales, secret sales, etc.

You will receive exclusive offers, rewards, and access to special launches through email from time to time. When you register an account with us, there will be an option under the “Account Details” section to receive such communications from us so that you don’t miss out on our latest offers.

You will have to reach out to the vendor that listed the reward. Details can be found in the “My Rewards” section of your Account page. Simply click on the reward and “View Details.”

Rewards have expiration dates because we want to encourage members to use them and go on this journey of self-discovery through our loyalty program.

There is no limit to the number of rewards that you can redeem, as long as you have the required amount of points to redeem them. However, for some rewards (e.g. Redeem a free drink), these are capped at one-time redemption per account. Details about the limits of reward redemption can be found in the Terms & Conditions section of the Reward itself.

Yes, each reward will have its respective validity period stated. This expiry date is different from the expiry of your accumulated spend and points. You can check the expiry date of your Rewards by logging in to your account on our website and going to the “My Rewards” section of your Account page. Rewards that have been used or expired will be grayed out.

For redeeming The Editor’s Market store credit rewards, the reward will automatically be converted into store credits in your account. No action is required on your end, and the reward will move into the “Used/Expired” list immediately.

Rewards can be redeemed in the Rewards Shop through our website. All you need to do is log in to your account and go to your Account page. From there, you will be able to browse and redeem rewards in the “Rewards Shop” section.

Points and spend accumulated in each account can only be used by that account holder, and cannot be transferred or merged with another account.

Each time you complete an action that qualifies you for earning points, the points earned will be recorded into your account immediately after you complete the action. You may log in to your account on our website to track your points earned.

Each time you make a purchase with your account, the spend earned will be recorded into your account within 24 hours of the purchase. You may log in to your account on our website to track your accumulated spends.

There are currently no purchases that are excluded from earning accumulated spends and points. The Editor’s Market may from time to time designate certain product items to be ineligible for earning accumulated spends and points.

You can earn points to use for the redemption of rewards from the Rewards Shop from a variety of actions. Do note that this is not a fixed list and the list can be updated from time to time:

Some actions only allow you to earn points once, whereas others are repeatable actions that you can continue to do to earn points.

Yes, there is a difference between points and spend accumulated.

Spend accumulated counts towards the maintenance and upgrading of tiers and tier benefits. These are earned only through purchases made in-store or online. Note that spend accumulated excludes discounts, shipping fees, and store credit usage.

For every PHP 1 spent, you will earn 1 point. Points can also be earned from a variety of actions that you take beyond just making a purchase. Points are used to redeem rewards from the Rewards Shop. Here are some of the actions you can take to earn points:

  • Make a purchase
  • Complete your profile
  • Subscribe to mailing list
  • Upgrade to a higher tier

Expiry of accumulated spend happens when you are upgraded or you have reached the expiry date of your tier membership.

Simply make any purchases in-store or online. Once you have accumulated the required spend for the next tier, you will be automatically upgraded to the next tier, and you will also be able to enjoy the benefits that come with the upgraded tier. The following are the required spends to upgrade your tier membership:

  • Black (Tier 2): PHP 20,000 accumulated spend within 12 months
  • Gold (Tier 3): PHP 50,000 accumulated spend within 12 months

Once you qualify for a Black or Gold membership, you will remain at that level for a full year from the date you qualified. You will then have one year to accumulate PHP 20,000 or PHP 50,000 to extend your Black or Gold membership respectively for another year.

If you do not accumulate the required spends, you will be downgraded to a lower membership tier depending on your total accumulated spend during the 12-month period. Your accumulated spend will be reset to PHP 0 at the end of the 12-month period if you did not meet the minimum requirements to maintain or upgrade from that tier.

Example 1: Joanne is a Black tier member who accumulated PHP 20,000 spend within the 12-month period. Her Black tier membership will be renewed for another year.

Example 2: Sarah is a Black tier member who accumulated PHP 51,000 spend within the 12-month period. She will automatically be upgraded to Gold tier membership on the day that her accumulated spend hits PHP 51,000. The excess of PHP 1,000 will count towards the renewal of her Gold tier membership for the following year.

Example 3: Hazel is a Gold member who accumulated PHP 64,000 spend within the 12-month period. She will be able to automatically renew her membership for another year from the expiry date of her current Gold tier membership.

Example 4: Abigail is a Gold tier member who accumulated PHP 25,000 spend within the 12-month period. She will be downgraded to Black tier membership on the expiry date of her Gold tier membership.

Example 5: Melissa is a Gold tier member who only accumulated PHP 5,000 spend within the 12-month period. She will be downgraded to White tier membership after her Gold tier membership expires.

For White tier members, your membership will never expire, but your accumulated spend will expire and be reset to PHP 0 after the 12-month period if you did not meet the minimum requirements to upgrade to another tier. The 12-month period starts from the date of the first purchase that you make as a Club Discovery member.

For Black and Gold tier members, you may be downgraded to a lower membership tier depending on your total accumulated spend during the 12-month period. The 12-month period starts from the date you qualified for the Black or Gold tier membership. Your accumulated spend will be reset to PHP 0 on the expiry date of your membership tier if you did not meet the minimum requirements to maintain or upgrade from that tier.

No, your accumulated spend will be reset to PHP 0 on the expiry date of your membership tier if you did not meet the minimum requirements to maintain or upgrade from that tier. The only case where your accumulated spend is carried forward is when you have upgraded to a higher level tier, but have excess accumulated spend from the required amount needed for the upgrade.

Resetting of your accumulated spend happens when you are upgraded to a higher tier or when you have reached the expiry date of your membership tier.

Example: Jane accumulated a total spend of PHP 21,000 within three months of her membership, and is then upgraded to Black tier membership. As a Black tier member requires PHP 20,000 worth of accumulated spend, the excess of PHP 1,000 will be counted towards the renewal of her Black tier membership, and also towards the upgrading to Gold tier membership.

Scenario 1: Within the 12-month period after becoming a Black tier member, Jane spent another PHP 50,000. This, combined with the excess of PHP 1,000, will result in a total of PHP 51,000, which qualifies her to get upgraded to a Gold tier membership.

Scenario 2: Within the 12-month period after becoming a Black tier member, Jane spent another PHP 20,000. This, combined with the excess of PHP 1,000, will result in a total of PHP 21,000, which allows her to maintain her Black tier membership for another year from the expiry date of her current Black tier membership.

Accumulated spends refer to the cumulative total you have spent on The Editor’s Market products in-store or online. These are used for the maintenance and upgrading of your membership and membership tiers. Note that all accumulated spends exclude discounts, shipping fees, and store credit usage.

There are a total of three tier levels, which you will be automatically assigned to depending on your spend with The Editor’s Market within a 12-month period.

  • White (Tier 1): No spend required
  • Black (Tier 2): PHP 20,000 accumulated spend within 12 months
  • Gold (Tier 3): PHP 50,000 accumulated spend within 12 months

Spends include all purchases online and in-store, but exclude discounts, shipping fees, and store credit usage.

No, you do not need to sign up again online if you have already signed up for a membership in-store. However, you will need to activate your account. Upon signing up, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to set up your password. Follow the instructions, log in to your account, and you will be able to see your point balance, rewards, and order history.

You can sign up for Club Discovery either in-store or online. You can request to join Club Discovery when making a purchase at any of our The Editor’s Market stores, or you can also join the program by creating a free account on our website.

You can start collecting points and earning rewards by making purchases both in-store and online. Simply share your email with the cashier for in-store purchases or log into your account before checking out online.
